The purpose of this series of greetings cards was to illustrate a variety of English and Irish sayings in a fun and quirky way. I decided to do this by looking at what phrases mean today, compared to what they use to mean back in the day. In doing this, I wanted to gain people’s interest and teach them something new in the origins of these sayings.
