This postcard was designed for a live brief involving the Irish Language Literature Festival – Imram. The poem that I chose was “Haiku” by Declan Collinge, where I focused on the physical cutting of words and letters to represent memories and piecing them back together. My postcard design was chosen by Imram to promote the festival and to be involved within the exhibition. For this, it was professionally printed and displayed in public spaces such as libraries and cafes.
